So last week, Alex was in a lego animation summer camp. Here’s what they made:

Yeah, it doesn’t make sense to me, either.
Getting the director’s commentary from Alex as we watched it was more amusing. He’s the one making the dog panting sounds at the beginning. And that part where it gets black? That was deliberate… they wanted to show what it would be like if they turned the lights out. I think they’d covered the camera with somebody’s lunch box. My favorite bit? He told us: “The wall is full of geckos! But they’re invisible, so you can’t see them.” (Sort of defeats the point of putting them in a movie?)
Summer’s not like it was when I was a kid!
