This Week in Urban Nature

I love: (1) your eye for beauty wherever you find it, (2) those wild, wild birds who could not care less that “civilization” is a thing, (3) the continuity I feel when I think of you and nature and the civilized world all tumbled together, and how the little (highly probably man-made) pond out beyond your dad’s place was wholly willing to surrender to crickets and bird-call and wildness so we could watch that eclipse of the moon.
