We spend a lot of time at playgrounds these days. The Bryant Elementary School playground is a particularly good one to go to. They have two slides — a straight one and a corkscrew one. Alex goes down the corkscrew one all on his own. He climbs the stairs, goes over to the slide, then gets on all fours and carefully crawls backwards until he’s ready to go down the slide.
When he gets to the bottom, his first instinct is to try to climb up the slide. That never works. Most of the time he then figures out that he should go back to the stairs.
The blue plastic slides can also cause some amazing static electricity to build up!
Here’s a photo montage of Alex’s trip to the playground this morning.
