Alex came home today!
Both Mom and baby are in good shape now. Alex is a little jaundiced, but nothing to be worried about. He’s eating and sleeping well. The biggest problem is he has his days and nights mixed up. We need to work on that! Here’s Molly and Alex at the hospital, all dressed up and ready to go:
This was also Alex’s first time in a carseat. Like most kids, a car seat and a car ride put him right to sleep. It’s amazing. I just hope we don’t have to resort to long, 2am car rides to readjust that night-and-day thing.
Alex seems to be adjusting well to life at our house. The question we’re all waiting to answer is how well the house — and the other critters that live in our house — will adjust to Alex. To show you what I mean, here’s Alex at the house today:
But look who considers that bassinet her home:
We’ll see how that battle of wills eventually works out!
Brian, Molly and Alex,
For some reason, I’m sure that Alex will get his revenge on the cat! Congratulations on the new addition to the family! And thanks for posting this to the web so we can all share.
What a BEAUTIFUL baby! I’m hoping that he and the cat won’t have to fight over the blanket that his favorite cousin made! Congratulations!
