…since I’ve written anything. It turns out having two kids completely changes the dynamic of the house. When it was just Alex, either Molly or I could easily handle him on our own, and the other parent would get frequent breaks. Plus, Alex is now such a champion sleeper. He’s in his crib no later than 8:00 and doesn’t make a noise until 7:00 AM the next day. (Alex’s bedtime has been getting gradually later. It used to be 7:00. With more light, we play more. And with more light, he’s frequently up talking to himself in his crib until 9:00 or so. Crazy kid.)
Well, those peaceful days are behind us. Long, uninterrupted periods of quiet are rarer, especially for Molly, as Patrick feeds about 4 times during Alex’s slumber. And during the day, the parent who doesn’t have Alex usually gets Patrick.
And did I mention I’m three weeks into a new job at Microsoft? So things have been kind of crazy.
But things seem to be settling into a new normal. Hopefully that will mean more baby pictures posted here soon for Alex and Patrick’s adoring fans!
