Yesterday was Alex’s five month birthday. We took this picture to celebrate. Look, ma, no hands!

There’s Alex!

It’s his favorite game in the world.

Last Sunday, Alex made his first trip down to Pike’s Place Market and Alex really enjoyed it!  Brian carried him around in the Baby Bjorn so that Alex could see all the action.  We were able to complete our visit between light rain showers, but it was still a beautiful day.

When we go to the market, we always stop at our favorite french bakery.  Here’s a picture of Brian and Alex at the bakery – Alex needed protection from Daddy’s crumbs!

Alex has a little sore on his nose because he has taken to grabbing his blanket in both hands and pulling it across his face.  Who knew that cotton flannel could wear away a couple layers of skin under the strength of a 4 month old baby?
